Pricing for 3D printing for SLS. We have decided to do things a little bit differently. Stray from the norm. Our pricing structure doesn’t use a secret magical formula to come up with a number, it’s been kept very simple.

How?
Simple. We charge by the bounding box.
Well cm3 of the bounding box to be exact. How big a box does your model take up? That is how much we charge. We just take the X Y Z measurements to work out the cost of your model.
What about all the empty space I hear you cry?
One of the great benefits of using SLS is you can NEST parts quite tightly together. The more compact you get your part/assembly ready for manufacture the less it will cost you.

Our case will cost us 45.50€*.
How did we get that price? We take the bounding box dimensions, (100 x 70 x 26 mm) and multiply them together to work out the volume in cm3 (182 cm3). Next we take the cost per cm3 (0.23€* /cm3) and multiple the two together to work out the cost.
Awesome, now let’s see how much our extra parts are going to cost.
Printing this set of extra parts will cost 14.73€* based on the size of their bounding box dimensions, (77 x 51 x 15 mm) and multiply them together to work out the volume in cm3 (58.9 cm3).
So how can we reduce the cost?
Easy, stick the extra parts inside the case and they become free!

- In your CAD software export all your parts nested as one STL
- If you still have spare space, ask a friend if they need anything printed
We have two pricing structures, Economy and Priority. Both come out of the same industrial machine, in the same strong & flexible Nylon material and with the same crisp quality.
Ordering your model to be 3D printed with the Priority service, allows you to jump to the front of the queue, while the Economy service gets pushed back in line a couple of days.
